About the Robert L. Pann Company
For over four decades, the Robert L. Pann family of companies has served clients throughout the greater Boston area. Robert L. Pann, a respected master plumber and himself the son of a plumber, started Pann Plumbing in 1953.
The entire company, indeed the entire Pann lineage almost sank with the Titanic. Robert L. Pann's father Maurice Pann, migrating from Russia to the U.S., was luckily unable to book passage on the Titanic's maiden voyage. Maurice Pann landed on Ellis Island and went on to soon become a master plumber. He practiced that craft all his life, though he had also passed the bar to practice law. His skills and his devotion to serving clients was passed on to his son, Robert.
The Robert L. Pann Company was formed in 1953 with two generations of experience and an inborn commitment to customer service.
The company and its offering of services has grown slowly but steadily over the years. In 1995, the company, still remaining in the family, was purchased by son, Michael S. Pann.
Since 1995, the company has undergone structural reorganization integrating five seamlessly interwoven areas of expertise: Plumbing Services; Heating, Air Conditioning and Refrigeration (HVAC-R); Carpentry/Remodeling; Electrical Services; Water Filtration
The Robert L. Pann family of companies now employs approximately 80 professionals, all of whom are experts in their particular fields. Pann employees are important and respected members of the Pann family. As Robert L. Pann envisioned in 1953, their feeling of importance and respect is passed along to the over 20,000 happy clients of the company.
